Hagenow Sudenhof Trading Estate

B plans 4, 12, 14 and 23

The "Hagenow-Sudenhof" trading estate is outside of the municipal area (approx. 1.5 km) and consists of the legally finalised B plans 4, 12, 14 and 23. Directly adjacent is B plan 11 (gross area 28.6 ha, net area 18.0 ha), on which Carl Kühne KG (GmbH & Co.) of Hamburg has built the most modern vinegar factory in Europe, and an ultramodern logistics centre. The above mentioned B plans within the Sudenhof trading estate currently have a total net area of approx. 37 ha for the establishment of manufacturing businesses. The trading estate has the best possible connections, in the form of a 5 km bypass to the Autobahn 24, a direct link to the B 321 and the K 22, proximity to the seaports of Hamburg, Wismar and Lübeck and to Schwerin/Parchim airport, as well as proximity to the future motorway intersection of Autobahn 24 and Autobahn 241, connecting to the Autobahn 20 and the projected Autobahn 14. It is located midway between the major centres of Hamburg and Berlin and close to the state capital of Schwerin. The well developed infrastructure of the town of Hagenow and the necessary soft location factors such as childcare facilities, schools which include vocational secondary schools and a Gymnasium, a Further Education centre, local court, employment bureau, tax office, banks, police station, district hospital, public utilities, sport and leisure centres, army base, etc., are all in this location's favour. The development work for B Plan 14 will be completed by the end of this year.
